ABOUT

The name says it.

“Lynxdots” — say it out loud, and you hear “links dots.”

That’s our work, in two words: we connect every link in your China-to-Europe supply chain. From factory floor to fulfilment door, from a Yiwu workshop to a Felixstowe customs queue to a Birmingham warehouse — every dot, expertly linked.

The “lynx” half is about how we work. Lynx-eyed: sharp, observant, catching the details others miss — the supplier hiding a markup, the customs code costing 7% extra, the 3PL contract clause that kills your scalability.

The “dots” half is what we cover. Six core nodes — factory, production, consolidation, freight, customs, fulfilment — and Lynxdots operates at every one.

Sharp eyes. Connected supply chains. That’s it.

FOUNDER STORY

Why I built Lynxdots.

I spent over a decade between the UK and China. Some of it in cross-border e-commerce, helping European brands find product. Most of it on the other side — advising Chinese manufacturers on how to package their work for Western buyers.

That dual perspective showed me something most sourcing agents don’t see.

The factories know who’s reliable, and who’s a markup-broker. The European buyers know who delivers, and who disappears when something breaks. Almost no one sits in the middle and speaks both languages — commercial, operational, and cultural.

I built Lynxdots to be that middle.

We work factory-direct, not because it’s a marketing line, but because we’ve earned the relationships. We charge service fees, not product markups, because that’s the only structure where our incentives match yours. We are based in the UK, because the customs queue at Felixstowe doesn’t translate well over Zoom.

If you’re moving product between China and Europe, I’d welcome a conversation about which dots in your chain are costing you the most.

WHAT “OPERATOR” MEANS

Boots on three different floors.

Lynxdots isn’t a consulting practice with a clever theory. The work is grounded in three operational realities:

A factory floor in Yiwu

where we renegotiated MOQ from 5,000 to 1,200 units for a UK client testing their first private-label product. The factory line had spare capacity that week; the sales rep we knew authorised the exception inside an hour.

A customs office in Felixstowe

where the wrong commodity code meant 7% in extra duty — until we caught it and got the next shipment reclassified. The client recovered the overpayment on the previous container under HMRC’s 3-year rule.

A 3PL contract in Birmingham

where we walked out of the first negotiation because the SLA wasn’t tight enough, and signed a better one with a different provider a week later. The pick-pack accuracy clause alone saved the client roughly £14k in the first year.

That’s what “operator-level” means at Lynxdots: we’ve been in the room where the decision actually gets made.

HOW WE WORK

Six dots. One partner.

Most sourcing agencies sit at the supplier dot. Most freight forwarders sit at the container dot. Most 3PLs sit at the warehouse dot. Lynxdots operates at every one of these — and the four other dots in between.

1 · FACTORY

Direct. No middleman.

2 · PRODUCTION & QC

On the factory floor.

3 · CONSOLIDATION

Multi-supplier in China.

4 · FREIGHT

FCL / LCL / Air.

5 · CUSTOMS

UKCA, EORI, VAT.

6 · WAREHOUSE

UK 3PL · FBA prep.

WHERE WE ARE

UK + China — same team.

Our UK office serves as the primary point of contact for clients. Our China presence — across eastern China (Ningbo / Yiwu) and southern China (Guangzhou / Shenzhen) — gives us reach into the major manufacturing hubs.
